Tokenising Aesthetics

New Wave

This term was used by film critics in 1958 to describe a series of French films focusing on expressing personality, It is called "new wave film". New wave films have the characteristics of low-cost production. They like to use long lenses to highlight their subjective feelings, and even use shaking lenses that violate shooting common sense. They like to skip cuts, set voiceovers and other operations. Anyway, they are breakthroughs in various ways. So we use the method of changing the position of the lens to make films.

Grievance

We want to integrate the modern network environment with it, so I changed the tail part into a sword, which represents network violence, often attacking others like a sword. The dialog box represents network language, and mosaic represents bad vocabulary, just like network violence.

Bi An

Bi An represents the ability to distinguish right from wrong, to judge impartially, to examine good and evil

We got inspiration from ancient Chinese mythology. Among the Nine Sons of the Dragon, the research object of the project was to Bian and Wind for good, to Grievance and Gluttony for evil. Incorporating mythology into the new wave, showing black aesthetics in an all-black form.
